Safety Rules
Our venue safety rules keeping are here to keep our customers and employees all safe. This should be a fun and safe experience for all!
We have made a video of our safety instructions so you can get a feel for how the harness and auto-belay devices work before you have even arrived in the venue. All customers are still required to attend a safety instruction at the start of every session.
WARNING
Failure to follow the safety rules or safety instructions provided by Activate by Hardrock employees may result in serious injury or death.
Management reserves the right to remove anyone from the venue who may through their actions cause additional risk to themselves, our employees and/or other patrons.
Climbing Safety Instruction (Preview)
- No running
- No throwing balls
- No fighting
- No drugs/alcohol
- All participants must be over the age of 2 and weigh between 10 – 150kgs.
- All participants must be free from injury or illness. If in doubt please consult your g.p.
- All participants must be wearing closed toe footwear that is attached to the feet.
- All participants under the age of 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- All participants and supervising adults must attend a safety briefing at the start of each attendance to the venue and must follow the instructions provided.
- All participants must be free from injury or illness. If in doubt please consult your g.p.
- All participants must be wearing closed toe footwear that is attached to the feet. Sports leggings are not recommended.
- All participants under the age of 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
- All participants and supervising adults must attend a safety briefing prior to the session and follow the instructions provided.
