Introducing Low Sensory Climbing Sessions at Activate by Hardrock

We’re excited to introduce a new weekly Low Sensory Climbing Session at Activate by Hardrock, designed to provide a calmer and more comfortable climbing experience for those who prefer a quieter environment.
Our Low Sensory Sessions are ideal for climbers who may find busy, noisy environments overwhelming, including individuals with sensory sensitivities, autism, anxiety, or anyone who simply enjoys a more relaxed atmosphere.
What Makes These Sessions Different?
During our Low Sensory Session, we’ll create a calmer climbing environment by:
- Turning off all music throughout the venue
- Not accepting birthday parties during the session
- Not taking large group bookings
- Maintaining a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere wherever possible
The climbing challenges, fun, and adventure you love remain exactly the same—just with fewer distractions and reduced sensory stimulation.
Who Are These Sessions For?
Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re a first-time climber, a regular visitor, or someone looking for a more comfortable way to experience Clip ‘n Climb, these sessions are designed to make climbing more accessible and enjoyable.
Parents and carers are encouraged to contact our team if they have any questions about whether the session may be suitable for their climber.

*Please note that in periods where we close earlier than 4pm (i.e. school holidays or other seasonal periods) this session does not run.

We believe climbing should be accessible to everyone, and we’re proud to offer a session that helps more people enjoy the excitement, confidence, and achievement that climbing can provide.
We look forward to welcoming you to our new Low Sensory Climbing Sessions.
